Job Details
Role: OMS Solution Architect
Location: United States (Remote)
Must-Have Requirements
- 12–15 years of overall IT experience, with 5–10 years in OMS architecture
- Minimum 2+ IBM Sterling OMS implementations for large retail clients
- Strong experience in retail commerce and omnichannel order management
- Hands-on expertise with:
- IBM Sterling OMS (Container version)
- IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising
- Java, XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP services
- Spring Boot microservices
- Azure cloud platform
- Kafka, Cassandra, Elastic/ELK, CI/CD pipelines
Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end OMS architecture using IBM Sterling OMS suite
- Design integrations with ERP, WMS, CRM, planning, and e-commerce platforms
- Lead solution design reviews, technical workshops, and implementation phases
- Provide technical leadership across development, testing, UAT, and production
- Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and monitoring
- Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to align solutions with business goals
Preferred Qualifications
- IBM Sterling or Azure certifications
- Experience leading large teams (10–30 members)
- Exposure to global OMS transformation programs
