Job Description
We are in search of a seasoned Senior Systems Architect with a deep understanding of Red Hat Satellite and Foreman open-source projects to join our esteemed team. This role places a strong focus on implementing best practices, designing scalable architecture, and managing day-to-day operations with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design and implementation of server lifecycle management solutions using Red Hat Satellite and Foreman.
- Formulate and execute architectural strategies for efficient and scalable infrastructure operations.
- Uphold best practices for server provisioning, configuration management, and real-time monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to architect and deploy solutions aligned with business needs.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of server infrastructure for maximum performance and availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive expertise in Red Hat Satellite and Foreman open-source projects.
- Proficiency in Ansible automation and configuration management.
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat, Ubuntu, and other Linux distributions.
- Knowledge of Redfish deployment for hardware management, specifically HPe, Dell, and SuperMicro.
- Familiarity with 3rd-party software repositories integration.
- Proficiency in PXE booting servers and pre-seeding files for Linux systems.
- Experience in Life Cycle Management, encompassing patch management, updates, and upgrades.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Red Hat certification (RHCSA or RHCE).
- Understanding of container technologies and OpenShift platform.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and virtualization tools like VMware or KVM.
- Prior exposure to integrating hardware and software solutions.
