World Wide Technology is looking for a Senior SailPoint Engineer. This job is part of WWT’s Strategic Resourcing services. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SailPoint Engineer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ solutions with a strong emphasis on Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM) and integration with Saviynt. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in IAM platforms, is proficient in the supporting technology stack, and excels in driving automation, compliance, and secure access controls across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ solutions including connectors, workflows, roles, policies, and certifications.
  • Architect and optimize Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM) processes including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access governance.
  • Integrate and collaborate across IAM platforms, including hands-on experience with Saviynt for enhanced access governance and cloud entitlement management.
  • Customize SailPoint rules, connectors, and workflows using Beanshell, Java, REST APIs, and SCIM.
  • Lead the migration, onboarding, and governance of enterprise applications into SailPoint and Saviynt environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including security, application owners, and HR systems to gather requirements and deliver IAM solutions.
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), and least privilege principles.
  • Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and provide technical support for IAM-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory frameworks such as SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, and NIST standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to IAM roadmap and best practices.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow, with deep understanding of architecture, deployment, and customization is REQUIRED.
  • Strong experience implementing and managing ILM processes in large enterprise environments is REQUIRED.
  • Experience working with Saviynt or similar cloud-based identity governance tools is REQUIRED.
  • Proficient in technologies including Java, Beanshell, SQL, LDAP, Active Directory, REST/SOAP APIs, and SCIM.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow), SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong understanding of identity governance, authentication, authorization, and privileged access controls.
  • Experience with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and other SSO/federation protocols.
  • Ability to lead technical projects and communicate effectively across business and technical teams.
