Job Details

Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer

Location: Dallas TX, Day 1 onsite

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description

  1. Strong experience in building RESTful APIs using Python
  2. Hands-on unit testing using Python s inbuilt libraries
  3. Experience with Kafka for messaging, including Kafka Connect and streaming applications
  4. Integration of Kafka with Google Cloud Platform using managed services
  5. Proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  6. Experience with Google Cloud Platform data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage)
  7. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle)
  8. Agile development methodology exposure

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with other Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 7 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
