VP of IT
Location: Triad, NC
Pay: $225,000+
CRG's warehousing and logistics client is seeking a dynamic Vice President of IT to spearhead standardization initiatives. The primary goal of this role is to enhance the IT-business partnership by fostering collaboration and innovation. The ideal candidate will be adept at breaking down existing barriers and driving transformative change. A strategic mindset and visionary leadership are essential for success in this pivotal role. This organization is experiencing rapid growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Assess the organization, leadership, systems, infrastructure, security, and IT governance and i dentify challenges, opportunities, and make recommendations.
  • Review IT strategies and align with overall Business vision.
  • Identify areas of expenditure and provide cost justifications for spending decisions.
  • Provide leadership for all technology-related issues and ensures the culture set forth by the executive team is communicated and successfully executed. Plans, develops, and implements sound programs, budgets and practices in the Information Technology Department and provides reports and information regarding progress and development so that the Management Team may effectively evaluate results.
  • Align with the strategic goal to advance a cybersecure communications & technology foundation which includes a transition to cloud computing and enhanced automation control for a smarter grid.
  • Establishes standards for hardware and software to ensure quality, functionality, connectivity, and compatibility using computer hardware and software to conduct Cooperative services.
  • Sets policies and procedures to ensure privacy and security of customer information, data, and systems.
  • Develops and implements organizational policies and procedures regarding appropriate usage of technology within the organization.
  • Build a team relationship with other members of the Management Team to ensure positive growth of the organization and maintain a working environment conducive to positive morale, individual style, quality, and creativity.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of strategic leadership in IT standardization initiatives, preferably in the warehousing and logistics industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and partnership between IT and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in assessing and addressing challenges across various facets of IT, including organization, leadership, systems, infrastructure, security, and governance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate IT strategies and align them with the overall business vision.
  • Financial acumen to analyze IT expenditures and provide cost justifications for spending decisions.
  • Visionary leadership with the capability to drive transformative change and break down existing barriers within the organization.
