Tech Bar Implementation Lead
Position s key accountabilities:
- Collaborate and engage with LoB on IT related matters.
- Manage IT Equipment resources for onsite team
- Assist and collaborate in IT project implementation as assigned by Manager or IT Operations manager
- Collaborate with other locations like HQ where Tech Bar is already setup in order to align with the Global Tech Bar setup.
- Work Agile with Kanban for all assigned planned tasks and participation in stand-ups
- Ensure and work in compliance with client principles, relevant SOPs & legal laws.
Nature and scope of key accountabilities
- Create and track the project plan for Tech Bar implementation.
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly updates on the progress of Tech Bar implementation plan.
- Work closely with Client regional IT lead and other client stakeholders in proactively providing all requirements from facilities, IT and Security standpoint.
- Determine the status of equipment for re-use or retirement and follow respective processes.
- Handle the removal of laptops from backend systems prior to reimaging.
- Oversee the reimage process, post-completion inventory, and storage.
- Coordinate the repair process for devices identified as re-use eligible but needing repair.
- Manage equipment ready for retirement and disposal.
- Communicate with relevant personnel regarding laptops associated with employee separations.
- Support Desktop Support team with break/fix replacement units and new hire setups.
- Monitor stock levels of all equipment and communicate with procurement technician for restocking needs.
- Conduct regular self-audits and adhere to standard control reports.
- Handle ad-hoc report requests from the client.
Purpose and subject of interaction with internal/external customers and key contacts
- Provide IT services and solutions to staff and management.
- When authorised, manage the relationship with vendors and partners
- Improve operational effectiveness.
- Optimise existing services based on user feedback.
- Ensure proper workload distribution amongst the IT supporters.
Education requirements
- Degree in IT preferred or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Fluent in oral and writing in English.
- Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow preferred
Work experience :
- Experience of managing teams
- Project management experience
- Strong knowledge of IT equipment and inventory management practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good presentation skills
- Experience working in an international environment is an asset
- Previous experience working in a 24/7 organization & willingness to travel on regular basis
- Experience with KCS is an asset
- Knowledge of AGILE working method

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
