A technology-driven company focused on developing smart electronic products for the water utility industry is looking for a Firmware Engineer to join its growing team. With locations in Tallassee, AL, and Atlanta, GA, the company supports over 4,000 utility providers across the country, providing data-powered tools that help ensure clean and reliable water access. This hybrid role involves being onsite two days per week and offers a great opportunity to build hands-on experience with embedded systems in a mission-focused environment.
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience working with C programming in embedded or bare-metal environments, preferably on Linux-based systems. A working knowledge of embedded system development, basic testing, and troubleshooting is important, along with a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative engineering team. Exposure to C++, wireless communication, unit testing, or tools like TeamCity or Jenkins is a bonus. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who's ready to contribute, learn quickly, and take part in building technology that makes a real-world impact.
