TransAmerica, a premier IT consulting and technical staffing company, is looking to add an Information Technology Training Specialist to our team! Our team works onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.

We are searching for a Training specialist to join our team servicing a federal project. You will work with other team members to help define, design, and prepare training materials, as well as present the IT training in either classroom and/or computer-based setting. Additionally, you will track and report attendance, assess employee progress and the training effectiveness.

Candidate should have minimum of 7 years experience in writing/editing or complex administrative tasks.

  • This role requires substantial knowledge of computer systems.
  • Candidate must have excellent communications skills.
  • Requires advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Prefer candidates who also have advanced computer skills in IFS, JIRA, SMARTTool, WMS, 2C8, PRISM, Javascript, CSS, HTML, eLMS, etc.
  • Candidate should be familiar with Knowledge Sharing Network (KSN) administration and document management.
  • Familiarity with SAFE Agile and Scrums.

The position includes these types of tasks:

  1. Develop, write, and edit material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with logistic support services and software systems.
  2. Help ensure compliance with Federal law and policy regarding training.
  3. Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals.
  4. Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts.
  5. Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
  6. Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
  7. Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
  8. Establish and maintain files and documentation both hard copy and electronically to include work revision, drawings, diagrams, charts.
  9. Work highly visible tasks that require interfacing with upper management and Federal executives.
  10. Convert information from paper and electronic mediums to other formats
  11. Maintains knowledge and skills in proper use of the English language, writing, grammar and punctuation.
  12. Speak with various organizations, clients and personnel over the telephone utilizing proper telephone etiquette that presents an appropriate, positive image.

Candidates must pass a federal background check and have resided in the U.S. for the past 3 years.
