About the Role:

We're looking for a seasoned AEM Architect with deep AWS expertise to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance digital experience platforms. This is a hands-on architecture role involving both solution strategy and technical leadership across multi-cloud, headless CMS, and content delivery platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of Adobe Experience Manager (Sites & Assets) implementations.

  • Define and execute cloud-native solutions using AWS (e.g., ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway).

  • Architect and implement AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) or hybrid AEM deployments.

  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and UX teams to deliver personalized, omnichannel experiences.

  • Integrate AEM with external systems via REST APIs, GraphQL, and AWS services.

  • Apply best practices in CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning, and security for AEM on AWS.

  • Guide technical teams, review code/architecture, and ensure scalable, resilient design.

  • Create documentation, architectural diagrams, and solution proposals for stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years in enterprise web architecture, with at least 4+ years in AEM (6.x or higher).

  • Strong expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (Sites, Assets, Workflows).

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, RDS, etc.).

  • Familiar with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) and headless CMS principles.

  • Proficient in Java, OSGi, Sling, HTL, Maven, Jenkins, etc.

  • Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) and content APIs.

  • Deep understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation preferred).

  • Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization for content platforms.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Adobe Certified Expert (AEM Architect/Developer)

  • Experience with personalization platforms like Adobe Target or Adobe Analytics

  • Experience integrating DAM, CRM, PIM, or commerce platforms into AEM

  • Experience with multi-region deployment, CDN, and auto-scaling architectures
