Location: USA

Visa: Open to any visa type with valid work authorization in the USA

Level: Mid to Lead positions

Description:

Working on an advanced, complex technical project requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge.

Applying Artificial Intelligence and/or Machine Learning to solve business needs.

Providing expertise, leadership, and guidance as it relates to Artificial Intelligence and/or Machine Learning.

Identifying trends, patterns, and problems by analyzing complex and unstructured data.

Designing, developing, and implementing viable business solutions to determine feasibility.

Designing and implementing underlying data models and databases.

Interpreting results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining.

Understanding end goals for projects and working autonomously as appropriate.

Working with project team members, subject matter experts, and senior leadership.

Qualification :

Master's degree in computer science, information systems, technology, or related field.

10+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.

ship (required by federal government) and ability to obtain a Public Trust

Additional Qualifications:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.

Experience with data visualization tools like Power Bl or similar tools.

Familiarity with cloud platforms; most specifically Microsoft Azure.

Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills and collaboration skills.

Ability to translate technical findings into business insights.

Ability to work cross-functionally with business and IT teams.

Ability to identify problems; determine accuracy and relevance of information; use sound judgement to generate and evaluate alternatives and make recommendations.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to thoroughly pay attention to details when performing and reviewing work.

Ability to work with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, and satisfy their expectations.

Proficiency in using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Visio).

Preferred Skills/Experience

Experience working in the government and the financial industry.

Experience with Big Data Technologies.

Familiarity with containerization and DevOps practices.

Experience with ETL tools and data integration.

Working understanding of Federal IT services models and frameworks to support the project team to meet client requirements.

Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills, including editing and proofreading.

Demonstrated customer service orientation and outstanding level of professionalism in providing client support.
