Pay Range:
Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Define, plan, and execute large-scale programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of program managers, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to drive consensus and resolve conflicts.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement scalable program management frameworks, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, ensuring proactive solutions to challenges.
- Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs, monitor program progress, and report outcomes to executives and stakeholders.
- Change Management: Lead teams through organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or technologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- 12+ years of program or project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing other program managers.
- Proven success in delivering complex, cross-functional programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in program management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMI, NPI).
- Ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels.
- Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with radio frequency technologies or programs
- Experience with aviation security technologies or programs
- Experience with TSA, DHS or other government regulatory bodies
