Job Details
Job Title: Technical Business Analyst Agentic AI Projects
Duration: 12-month contract with high chance of extension or conversion to FTE
Location: Remote
Function: Remote CST Working Hours
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Meet with stakeholders (2 3 calls/day) to gather functional requirements
- Turn business needs into detailed Jira tickets and user stories
- Own and maintain BRDs and documentation in Confluence
- Act as the connective tissue between business, PM, and AI engineers
- Help scope, define, and track work across multiple AI projects
- Translate AI-specific processes (agent design, API interaction, Langflow blocks) into business-understandable plans
- Join sprint planning and deployment meetings
- Anticipate blockers, clarify asks, and ensure alignment across teams
Occasionally act in a PM capacity, tracking deliverables
Must Haves
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst (technical focus)
- Strong experience with:
Internal SaaS products (non-customer-facing tools)
Jira and Confluence
Writing BRDs and technical documentation - Familiarity with AI development cycles, including:
API integrations
Basic understanding of Python, prompts, and workflows
Agentic AI vs. generative AI (you don t need to code, but must understand the concepts) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work Central Time Zone hours
- Strong technical writing or system documentation background
