Our client - a major utility firm based out of Westchester County, NY - has an immediate need for SAP Budget System Analyst. The particulars of the position are as follows.

Project Overview:
This role will support the Budget Department from a technical perspective related to SAP. This role will specifically support the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) initiative that the department is currently undertaking as well as integration with SAP ERP shift as we move from SAP ECC to SAP S4/HANA.

Job Functions & Responsibilities
? Work closely with the Director of O&M and Capital Budgets, as needed, with regards to SAP SAC and SAP ERP shift
? Robust Financial Planning & Analytics functional and technical skills developed ideally in S/4HANA transformations.
? Functional understanding of Financial Planning business processes.
? Understanding of the leading-edge planning features in SAP Analytics Cloud such as driver-based planning.
? Strong UX skills, proven ability to design & build dashboards and other advanced visualization components in SAC.
? Proven leadership experience gained in medium to large scale SAP enabled transformations.
? An SAP Finance functional background, understanding how finance planning processes complement the finance calendar.
? Work closely with IT, Accounting, Finance and other departments within the organization when it comes to related processes, procedures, and reporting

Skills:
? Proficient with SAP systems including but not limited to S/4 HANA, ECC, SAC, Project Systems, Integrated Planning, etc.
? The ability to demonstrate innovative thinking and help the organization maximize the value of our investments in data.
? A proven track record of analytics solution delivery experience from initial thinking, through to definition of functional requirements, ultimately ending with product delivery.
? The ability to develop and manage relationships with other departments, through confidence in presenting challenging points of view and innovative solutions to their business challenges.
? Excellent interpersonal technical skills and be able to maintain the current system as well as any new systems and provide constant updates where needed.
? Ability to multi-task and manipulate multiple complex spreadsheets & Data Structures
? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
? Excellent organizational & communication skills
? Ability to work with accuracy and timeliness within the strict deadlines built into the processes.
? Ability to work with minimal guidance

Education & Certifications:
? Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Data Analytics or related field mandatory
? SAP Certifications (Associate, Specialist, Professional) is preferred.
