Project Manager

Location: Northeast Region (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation:
Pay Range: $39.30-$57.80 per HR

Description:
Possess extensive experience in managing IT projects within financial institutions, specifically in capital markets.
Have a strong understanding of market risk concepts and processes.
Familiar with risk concepts related to financial derivatives, including credit risk and liquidity risk.
Skilled in writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Understand data warehouse concepts and have experience with data analysis.
Capable of managing project management tools and creating reports.
Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
Coach team members in agile frameworks and serve as a scrum master.
Facilitate scrum ceremonies and ensure agile practices are followed.
Assist in tracking and removing impediments to foster high team performance.
Manage project scope, timeline, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
Collaborate with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
Work with development teams on continuous improvement and project documentation.

Qualifications:
10 years of experience in IT project management, with over 5 years in financial institutions.
Hands-on knowledge of market risk concepts and processes preferred.
Experience in writing user stories and managing project management tools.
Understanding of data warehouse concepts and data analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
