Role: Salesforce Senior Administrator
Location: NYC
Job Overview:
Looking for a candidate, a bright, self-motivated, experienced Salesforce Admin, to become a part of our Salesforce team.
The Salesforce admin will be able to solve business problems by customizing the Salesforce Platform. To build, configure, and automate technology solutions to deliver business value. Work with business stakeholders to define system requirements and customize the platform. Most importantly, they will enable users to get the most out of Salesforce technology.
They will also own working with other technical teams and third-party applications to make our integrations with other systems increasingly seamless.
Essential Responsibilities:
- All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, sharing rules
- Build, design and test Salesforce configuration changes, including Flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom setting, dashboards and reports.
- Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Maintain current knowledge of Salesforce technology for current and upcoming releases.
- Perform data imports, exports, and data migrations between Salesforce instances or external systems and data sources.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure data consistency across systems.
- Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as user guides and training materials.
- Conduct impact analysis and regression testing to ensure system stability and compatibility.
- Implement new features and functionalities introduced in Salesforce releases.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations.
Additional Responsibilities:
Preferred Education, Experience and Certifications:
- Salesforce certifications as Administrator
- Salesforce certification as Advanced Administrator a plus
- Salesforce Platform App Builder a plus
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 5+ years of Salesforce administration experience
- 4+ years of experience working on Service Cloud platform.
- Solid experience working with Omni routing, digital channels (Email, Chat, In App Messaging, SMS).
- Demonstrated track record of complex implementations involving Salesforce and third-party vendors.
- Experience with Lightning Flow Builder, Including Event Triggered, and Record Triggered Flows.
- Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Workbench).
- Experience with Atlassian products, Jira, Confluence.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security model, and declarative development tools.
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce cloud a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce Experience cloud a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce voice or integration with a Telecom vendor a plus.
- Experience working with Salesforce AI tools a plus.
- Experience with Marketing cloud a plus.
