Our challenge
We are seeking an experienced SAP Portal Consultant/Developer to design, develop, and implement SAP Enterprise Portals and related web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Portal technologies, ABAP, Java, and web development, along with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Plano, TX is $100k - $110k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP Enterprise Portal solutions and components
- Customize SAP Portal content and applications based on business requirements
- Integrate SAP Portal with other SAP modules and external systems
- Develop and configure SAP NetWeaver Portal, including iViews, pages, and themes
- Manage SAP Portal security, user roles, and authorization administration
- Troubleshoot and resolve portal issues and performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams for seamless implementation
- Document solutions, technical specifications, and user manuals
- Conduct testing and support deployment of SAP Portal enhancements
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience in SAP Portal / SAP Enterprise Portal development and administration
- Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP PI/PO, and SAP Fiori (if applicable)
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
- Experience with ABAP development related to SAP Portal integration
- Familiarity with SAP Security concepts and roles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
