Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- traditionally Modine uses Solidworks/solidedge but if it is different I will let you know. Keyword is fixtures.
- Strategic ECR/ECO Oversight: Lead the evaluation, documentation, and implementation of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring alignment with business goals and timely execution.
- Operational Excellence: Drive initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in quality, cost efficiency, and throughput across manufacturing operations.
- Project Leadership: Manage complex engineering assignments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to high-quality standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain professional and proactive communication with internal teams, clients, and cross-functional partners.
- ERP Governance: Ensure accuracy and integrity of technical documentation and Bills of Materials within the ERP system.
- Continuous Improvement Champion: Identify, lead, and implement process enhancements using automation, lean principles, and emerging technologies.
- Mentorship & Development: Train and mentor junior engineers and new team members, fostering a culture of growth and technical excellence.
- Metrics Accountability: Own and report on key engineering and organizational performance metrics.
- Advanced Process Design: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and plant layouts to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
- Innovation & Technology Integration: Evaluate and deploy new manufacturing technologies that support sustainability and scalability.
- Technical Documentation & Design: Oversee the creation of technical drawings, jigs, fixtures, and interpret complex engineering designs.
- Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Design teams to address unique customer requirements and support strategic initiatives.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure full adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Required Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (IronCAD, SolidWorks, SolidEdge).
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, CAD tools, and ERP systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with HVAC design models and applications.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional engineering projects.
