Our dedicated professionals share our lawyers' commitment to excellence and show up each day to do meaningful work that helps drive global business, investment and innovation forward.

What You'll Do

Are you an experienced eDiscovery leader who thrives in fast-paced, multidimensional environments-balancing client consulting, team development, and innovation? Join our growing Litigation & Practice Technology (LPT) group as a LPT Principal, where you'll play a central role in guiding discovery strategy, leading high-performing teams, and advancing the firm's use of emerging technologies.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Litigation & Practice Technology, the LPT Principal directs and supports a cross-functional team of discovery and data science specialists focused on delivering defensible, efficient workflows for document and data analysis. You'll consult with attorneys and clients on complex matters including litigation, investigations, regulatory inquiries, and due diligence-translating deep subject-matter expertise into meaningful outcomes and continuous team success.

This is a highly collaborative role embedded within the firm's discovery leadership team, offering the opportunity to shape operations and technology strategy while mentoring talent and driving service excellence.

  • Client & Matter Strategy
Lead discovery strategy and workflow design on complex legal matters, offering consultative insight across staffing, vendor selection, and technology use.
  • Subject-Matter Expertise
Apply seasoned ediscovery knowledge and creativity to develop efficient, defensible solutions rooted in deep technical and legal experience.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship
Manage and mentor a team of 6-10 discovery professionals, driving open communication, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Process Development & Standardization
Promote adoption of standard operating procedures and quality frameworks that support consistent, high-impact service delivery.
  • Departmental Strategy & Innovation
Contribute to firm-wide initiatives, including the assessment and integration of emerging technologies such as generative AI (GenAI) and process improvement projects.
  • Training & Thought Leadership
Develop and deliver presentations and training on ediscovery tools and best practices to clients, attorneys, and internal teams.
  • Client-Facing & Internal Impact
Represent the LPT group in client engagements, firm initiatives, and internal leadership forums-driving visibility and alignment around team services and innovation.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree required; JD/LLM or MBA is a plus but not required.

Experience
Minimum 10 years delivering eDiscovery solutions, with experience across law firms, advisory firms, service providers, in-house legal teams, or legal tech companies.

Leadership & Team Development
At least 3 years managing or coordinating team efforts with a clear ability to coach, resolve conflicts, and elevate team performance.

Technical & Workflow Expertise
Strong familiarity with core eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Reveal), analytics and technology-assisted review (TAR) tools (e.g., BrainSpace, RevealAI), and applicable legal frameworks (e.g., ESI Orders, FRCP, cross-border data considerations).

Strategic Thinking & Execution
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining strong alignment with leadership directives and organizational goals.

Communication & Collaboration
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong client-service orientation and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Specialized Expertise (Preferred)
