RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Senior Workday Developer for a client in the Leawood, KS area. The client is looking for someone who is willing to work onsite - this is not at remote position.
Summary:
The Senior Workday Developer will report to the Senior Director of Information Technology and leverage their expertise to enhance HR and financial data workflows while maintaining the system's integrity and scalability.
Responsibilities:
* Senior Workday Developer will serve as a primary IT subject matter expert in Workday integrations, security, platform, and release management
* Lead the research, design, development, testing and delivery of new Workday integrations
* Work closely with technical teams, project teams, and business units to design, deliver, and support solutions that meet business requirements
* Provide both leadership and technical skills to communicate technical terms and direction effectively and efficiently in a way that's easily understood by both IT staff and business customers
* Organize work, establish priorities, meet established deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimal direction
* Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments
* As a Senior Workday Developer, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
* Engage in vendor management, collaborating with third-party vendors & consultants to develop solutions for business opportunities
REQUIREMENTS:
* Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Minimum of 3+ years of Workday experience
* Functional expertise of XML, XSLT, Web Services, and other Workday-related programming languages or tools
* Ability to work flexible schedules, offer on-call support, and participate in occasional after-hours projects and upgrades
Able to apply knowledge of various databases, operating systems, middleware, business applications, and web servers, including but not limited to:
* Workday Studio
* Cloud and Core Connector configuration ex: CCB CCW CCP PECI
* EIB's and Document Transformation XTT XVT
* REST and SOAP based services and testing tools ex. Postman SoapUI
* Familiar with common business file formats like EDI and X12 834
* Workday authentication patterns including OAuth, SSO, SFTP, SSH key based auth
* XSLT 2.0 / 3.0 streaming
* Report Writer, RaaS, Calc Fields
* BIRT and Prism (Preferred but not required)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
