Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Plano, TX / Sacramento, CA (Onsite)
Essential Responsibilities
Coordinate the end-to-end code delivery process, defining tools, methodologies, and best practices within an Agile team environment to support technical solutions across the full stack of development tools and technologies.
Maintain build and development processes for applications across the enterprise hybrid cloud environment.
Perform root cause analysis to resolve production issues effectively.
Manage product rollouts, patches, fixes, and updates.
Optimize workflows, pipelines, and supporting processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
Oversee release management activities, including branching, versioning, tagging, and event hooks.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field strongly preferred. Equivalent technical certifications and professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Certifications (Preferred):
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
Microsoft Azure Developer Associate
Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert
Docker Certified Associate
Certified Kubernetes Administrator
Required Experience
Minimum of 3+ years of combined Development and DevOps experience with Cloud Service Providers (Azure preferred), CI/CD, logging, and monitoring tools.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure delivery and management technologies.
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform) and automation/configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack).
Strong containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes (or other container orchestration platforms).
Practical experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Required Technical Skills
Solid foundational knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure or AWS).
Ability to document, present, and communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience providing technical guidance on operations, system performance, workflow analysis, and environment management.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and troubleshooting best practices.
