Job Details

  • Minimum ITE graduate or possess an equivalent qualification.
  • Ideally 2-5 years of warehouse experience, preferably with exposure to picking/packing, scanning and labelling, inventory management etc.
  • Ability to operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment will be advantageous.
  • Ability to lift between 15 - 20kg of weight.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.

What will you be doing?

Production Technicians are responsible for performing entry/basic level tasks related to processing products in our integration center. Responsibilities include (but not limited to) inspection, basic installations, scanning, labelling, pre-integration, inventory checks, picking/packing activities etc. The position reports to a Production Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, has experience operating handheld scanning equipment and has experience functioning in a warehouse environment. To succeed in the role, the individual should be systematic, process-driven, a problem-solver and a reliable team player.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify areas where efficiency and process improvement are needed.
  • Use established tools and techniques to track progress related to implementing process improvements.
  • Apply new ideas or approaches to enhance outputs.
  • Learn and support the processes of receiving and shipping warehousing materials when needed.
  • Demonstrate attention to details and a commitment to accuracy by ensuring information is thoroughly and correctly documented.
  • Understand and assemble products according to technical documentation requirements and ensure quality and functional standards are met.
  • Collect information to understand problems and identify their origin.
  • Research events and known solutions for basic or routine problems.
  • Implement prescribed steps and ensure effective resolution, ready to escalate troubleshooting if needed.
  • Demonstrate attention during discussions by taking notes and asking clarifying questions.
  • Demonstrate awareness of non-verbal behavior/cues (i.e. body language) when listening and communicating.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in meeting individual deadlines as well as the completion of tasks in a timely manner.
  • Work with Supervisors to set goals and priorities for individual work and manage time efficiently to accomplish goals.
  • Comply with and promote safety guidelines.
  • Promote a clean and organized operational environment.
