We are looking for Assembler for our client in Pomona, CA
Job Title: Assembler
Job Location: Pomona, CA
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
Pay Range: $15hr - $20hr
  • Complete set-up operations for assembly, packaging, and preparation tasks in compliance with approved documentation and QSR.
  • Perform line clearance, equipment preventive maintenance, and housekeeping duties.
  • Carry out routine tasks based on detailed written or verbal instructions.
  • Assemble, repair, inspect, and test products following written procedures.
  • Assist Engineering and Maintenance teams with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
  • Complete and ensure accuracy of documentation related to manufactured products and equipment maintenance.
  • Clean, perform, and document routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Dispose of hazardous waste materials in designated areas.
  • Support continuous improvement activities, such as 5S and OEE.
  • Assist with new equipment installation and validation.
  • Support problem-solving related to product quality as required.
  • Read and comprehend basic instructions and other work-related documents.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills while maintaining product quality.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions under supervisor or manager guidance.
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, QC Technicians, and Management to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Work on semi-routine assignments requiring judgment to resolve problems and make routine recommendations.
  • Maintain awareness of quality consequences from improper job performance and understand device defects that may occur in assigned areas.
  • Exhibit professional behavior with internal and external business associates consistent with company policies and practices.
  • Carry out duties in compliance with established business policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned according to changing business needs.
Minimum Qualifications / Education And Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 0 3 years of related experience.
  • Basic communication and writing skills.
  • Limited judgment required for troubleshooting proven processes.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a quality system environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three years of experience in medical device manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of regulations such as FDA, ISO, and OSHA.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing systems, including documentation, compliance, inventory control, and production scheduling or controls.
