Job purpose/Summary

The position of Business Development, Media Asset Management, manages the business development and sales activities of the Minnetonka AudioTools Server File-Based Audio Solutions for Telos Alliance. This position is responsible for developing high-level customer relationships where opportunities for enterprise-scale applications of AudioTools Server are discovered and won.

This position will also need to develop new sales channels for the AudioTools Server line, through System Integrators, Partnerships, OEM relationships and other sales channels as opportunities present.

This person is also responsible for gathering market intelligence, assisting with creating market forecasts and pipeline reports and, most importantly, meeting annual sales targets.

This position will be USA-based, with a focus on the US and Canadian media markets.

Education/Experience Requirements

  1. Bachelor s Degree required.
  2. TV Broadcast, Media Production, or Media Asset Management experience is required.
  3. Previous sales experience required, especially experience managing varying sales channels.
  4. Previous employment in the Broadcast Industry is desired, but not required.
  5. Industry certifications (SBE, SMPTE) are a plus.
  6. The position is remote, with travel up to 25% - occasionally over weekends and/or holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Job Duties

  • New Customer Sales and Business Development
    • Build relationships with key accounts to drive high-value sales.
    • Create sales channels through dealer, reseller and SI networks
    • Work as part of a larger sales team to drive larger sales opportunities across product lines.
    • Manage pipeline and forecasting reports via the CRM platform
    • Achieve sales targets
  • Existing Customer Sales
    • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customer base, increasing their use of AudioTools Server, and growing revenue
    • Manage the SLA renewals of existing customers, preventing contract churn.
    • Manage pipeline and forecasting reports via the CRM platform

  • Public Evangelism
    • Attend National, Regional, State or Local shows to present on the business advantages of our technology, and establish yourself as the go-to Audio Expert in the industry.
    • Facilitate education and training for clients so AudioTools Server remains an indispensable part of their business.
  • Product line management
    • Serve as an information conduit between Sales and the R&D, Engineering and Marketing departments, providing product, technology, market and competitive feedback gathered from the field.
    • Help shape product roadmaps and priorities via feedback from clients and markets.
