Description

We are looking for a skilled Database Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in White Plains, New York. In this role, you will oversee the development, organization, and maintenance of key database systems to support manufacturing and product management processes. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring data accuracy and smooth operations.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain database systems to manage finished goods, components, and formula codes.
Collaborate with Packaging Engineers and International Marketing to create comprehensive manufacturing instructions for production facilities.
Configure new product codes at both Item Group and Product Group levels, and update the product tree in the database.
Set up and manage data synchronization processes using tools like 1WorldSync and GS1 ProSync to share product information with retailers.
Generate and distribute notifications and reports on new items for various departments as needed.
Work closely with Marketing to issue Manufacturing Authorization numbers to facilitate new product launches.

Requirements

Proven experience working with existing databases and managing complex datasets.
Strong knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and processes.
Proficiency in BigSQL or similar database tools.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
Experience with data synchronization tools such as 1WorldSync and GS1 ProSync is a plus.
