RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support the alignment of business needs with technology solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements, define processes, and translate them into clear, actionable documentation. Strong skills in writing business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flows are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
* Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
* Develop comprehensive documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories
* Create and maintain process flows and data flow diagrams to visualize current and future state business processes
* Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria
* Assist in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support throughout the software development lifecycle
* Participate in solution design discussions, offering insights on feasibility and business impact
* Ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date throughout project lifecycles
* Support change management and training efforts as needed for system implementations
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
* Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA preferred
* 4-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in an IT environment
* Proven experience writing business and functional requirement documents
* Strong understanding of business process modeling and tools like Visio or Lucidchart
* Ability to analyze complex problems and communicate solutions clearly and effectively
* Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
Preferred Skills
* Telecom or enterprise systems experience is a strong plus
* Familiarity with SQL, data mapping, or integration concepts
* Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
