Piper Companies is seeking a Jira Administrator for a leading technology organization. This role supports internal clients who, in turn, support government operations. The role requires availability to work EST hours. This is a long term contract opportunity.

- Lead the migration of Jira environments, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining data integrity and system functionality
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business teams to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver Jira solutions that align with organizational goals
- Implement and configure Jira solutions, optimizing workflows, permissions, and automation to enhance efficiency across departments
Requirements for the Jira Administrator:
- Extensive experience with the Atlassian Suite, including expertise in Jira administration and configuration
- Proven ability to serve as a Jira Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices for users and teams
- Strong background in Confluence and AWS, leveraging these tools for documentation, collaboration, and cloud-based integrations
- Demonstrated success in managing migrations and implementations, ensuring seamless adoption and functionality post-deployment
Compensation for the Jira Administrator:
- $100,000 - $165,000
