Position Title: Client role - SAP Ariba B&I Technical Consultant (with Migration Specialist skills)
Location: US (ET or CST)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing (B&I) Technical Consultant with a strong background in migrating procurement and invoicing solutions from legacy systems to SAP Ariba. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in SAP Ariba B&I, hands-on experience with integration and data migration, and a proven track record of supporting end-to-end transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical workstreams for migrating procurement/invoicing processes from legacy platforms to SAP Ariba B&I.
Analyze legacy system architecture, data models, and interfaces to design effective migration strategies.
Develop and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for seamless migration.
Configure and customize SAP Ariba B&I modules to meet business and technical requirements.
Integrate SAP Ariba with SAP ERP (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC) and third-party systems using middleware (e.g., SAP CPI, PI/PO, Dell Boomi).
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during migration and post-go-live support.
Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure successful migration and adoption.
Document technical designs, migration plans, and support knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical expertise in SAP Ariba B&I: Configuration, customization, and integration.
Legacy system migration experience: Proven track record of migrating from legacy procurement/invoicing solutions to SAP Ariba.
Integration skills: Experience with SAP integration tools (CPI, PI/PO, CIG), APIs, and file-based integrations.
Data migration: Proficiency with ETL tools, data mapping, cleansing, and validation.
Scripting and development: Familiarity with Java, XML, Web Services, and Ariba APIs.
Project delivery: Experience in full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
Problem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Ariba certification(s) in Buying & Invoicing.
Experience with S/4HANA integration.
Exposure to Agile project methodologies.
Knowledge of procurement best practices and compliance requirements.
