Title: Python Analytics Engineer

Location: Houston, TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Python-based solutions for ongoing projects, including:
• Condition-Based Maintenance Program for Industrial Equipment.
• Supporting critical monitoring and alerting functionalities.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based web applications to facilitate data access, visualization, and user interaction.
• Create and optimize efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for processing large datasets, ensuring data quality and timely integration with business intelligence and analytics platforms.
• Demonstrate expertise with Apache Airflow to schedule, monitor, and manage workflows and jobs.
• Utilize business analysis tools like Power BI to create insightful, actionable data visualizations.
• Leverage familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure to ensure seamless data integration, storage, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with evolving business requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products.
• Conduct ongoing code reviews, actively participate in team discussions, and uphold best practices to enhance code quality and maintainability.
• Perform advanced regression analyses to significantly enhance sales price prediction accuracy.
• Utilize machine learning libraries and statistical tools for predictive modeling and advanced analytics.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to design and implement complex algorithms for challenging business problems.
• Manage source code and version control using Git, including overseeing pull requests and merges within Azure Repositories.
• Apply Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques for text search, pattern recognition, and other text analytics tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field with minimum experience 6+ years of experience and valid work visa.
• Proven experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, or a similar technical role.
• Significant hands-on experience in developing Python-based web applications and data driven solutions (e.g., using Flask).
• Experience designing, building, and optimizing ETL pipelines for enterprise-scale data processing.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and core data science libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow management.
• Proficient with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Strong understanding of machine learning methodologies and NLP techniques.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control (Git/Azure Repos).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Eagerness to learn emerging technologies and AI applications, continually enhancing personal and team capabilities.
