Description: Our client is currently seeking a Java Full Stack/Software Engineer 4
Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in software development, cloud deployment, and secure software practices. In this role, you will consult on complex initiatives, contribute to large-scale software engineering challenges, and collaborate strategically with client personnel. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Responsibilities:

• Provide consultation on high-impact software engineering initiatives.
• Analyze and resolve complex software development challenges involving multi-faceted considerations.
• Contribute to the architecture, design, and execution of secure, scalable, and high-performing applications.
• Collaborate strategically with client personnel to meet project deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Engage in large-scale planning for software solutions and deployments.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• Proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Framework, including Spring Boot.
• Experience in building JSON REST APIs.
• Strong front-end skills with React and Material UI (MUI).
• Hands-on experience in cloud environments, preferably RedHat OpenShift.
• Expertise in secure software development methodologies.
• Ability to write unit tests in JUnit, leveraging Mockito for mocking data.
• Experience working with Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins and Harness.
• Understanding of GitHub Copilot to enhance software development and testing productivity.
• Proficiency in database management, including MongoDB, SQL Server, and Oracle relational databases.
• Preferred experience with automated testing using Selenium or Playwright.
