Baer is looking for Senior SAP RAR Consultant for a 12+ month project located in Chestnut Ridge, NY
Title: Senior SAP RAR Consultant
Location: Hybrid Chestnut Ridge, NY (50% onsite required)
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2
Description:
- Configure and support SAP S/4HANA for Results Analysis and Event-Based Revenue Recognition.
- Translate Microsoft Project forecasts into EACs (Estimates at Completion) in SAP.
- Perform planned results analysis and generate accurate revenue forecasts.
- Understand and explain the differences between valuated and non-valuated project stock, including the impact on financial postings.
- Manage projects involving multiple company codes, including scenarios where the selling entity differs from the executing entity.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to drive deliverables, ensure alignment, and support decision-making.
- Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Revenue Recognition, Results Analysis, and Project Systems.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Project plans and convert forecasts to SAP EACs.
- Deep understanding of valuation differences in project stock and related financial implications.
- Experience with cross-company code project accounting.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
