Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 1 Year
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer to join our IT development team. The consultant will be responsible for the design, development, delivery, and ongoing support of enterprise-level applications. This role involves collaboration with business analysts, other developers, and stakeholders to enhance system functionality, maintain performance, and ensure overall software quality.

Scope of Services:

Design & Development

  • Develop efficient, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions using the .NET framework.

System Maintenance

  • Monitor, update, and maintain applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience.

Troubleshooting

  • Identify and resolve software issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks to ensure reliable system operation.

Feature Enhancement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and improve usability.

Integration

  • Ensure seamless integration of new and existing systems and databases while maintaining data integrity.

Optimization

  • Review and optimize code for efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.

User Feedback

  • Incorporate user feedback to refine application functionality and performance.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Maintain detailed documentation for updates, modifications, and technical procedures to ensure knowledge retention.

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure adherence to organizational compliance standards and best practices in data protection and security.

Collaboration

  • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants for third-party integrations and updates.

Training & Support

  • Provide technical guidance and training to business teams as needed.

Mandatory Skills / Experience:

(Candidates without the mandatory skills will not be considered)

  • 8+ years developing Microsoft ASP.NET applications using MVC 5 or higher

  • 8+ years of experience with SQL Server (2016, 2019, or 2022)

  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Entity Framework or comparable ORM

  • 5+ years of experience with Vue, Angular, or React, along with HTML5 and CSS3

  • Experience working with Azure Cloud environments

  • Strong experience in server and application troubleshooting

  • Proficiency in WebAPI development and integration

  • Proven experience designing and developing database-driven applications with advanced reporting functionalities

  • Expertise in UI design and implementation

Desirable Skills / Experience:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps

  • Experience setting up and deploying CI/CD pipelines

  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies

  • Experience with data integration / ETL tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory

  • Experience working with RESTful web services and JSON-based data exchange
