As a BlueHalo RF Design Engineer, you will be a key member of an integrated team operating in a very innovative environment. In this role, you will be responsible for developing system-level architectures and integrating RF subsystems with a strong emphasis on communications systems. You will play a key role in full system modeling-from free space propagation to digitizer performance-ensuring that our solutions meet customer requirements and industry standards. Salary Range: $90 - $175k

Key Responsibilities
- System-Level Architecture & Modeling:
- Develop and implement RF system-level architectures for cutting-edge communications systems.
- Perform comprehensive system modeling and simulation covering all phases, from free space propagation to digitizer integration.
- Utilize industry-standard tools (HFSS, ADS, MATLAB, and Altium) to analyze and optimize RF performance.
- Subsystem Integration:
- Integrate multiple RF subsystems to create a cohesive, high-performance communications system.
- Align the performance of various modules to ensure seamless operation across the complete system.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and customers to drive system design decisions.
- Participate in design reviews and customer meetings to gather requirements and provide technical insights that shape the system architecture.
- Documentation & Communication:
- Develop detailed technical documentation and design specifications.
- Clearly communicate design ideas, challenges, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of RF system design and communications principles.
- Familiarity with simulation and design tools such as HFSS, ADS, MATLAB, and Altium.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US DOD clearance (requires ship).
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to full system modeling from free space to digitizer.
- Prior internship or project experience in RF or communications system design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic engineering environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
