Job Title: SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) Consultant with extensive experience in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP RAR solutions in compliance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606. This role requires deep expertise in RAR integrations with FI, and SD, modules, and a solid understanding of order-to-cash and revenue recognition processes in S/4 HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the implementation of SAP RAR including solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with new revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15 & ASC 606).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and model revenue accounting processes using the SAP RAR five-step model.
  • Integrate RAR with SAP FI, SD, and BRIM modules, support data migration and cutover planning.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications and configuration documentation.
  • Utilize BRF+ framework for business rules and logic within RAR where applicable.
  • Provide expertise on order-to-cash, SD/FICO integration, IFRS 16, COPA, and overall revenue recognition processes.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment with industry best practices and financial regulations.
  • Conduct workshops, lead design sessions, and deliver presentations to management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP RAR, with strong knowledge of design and configuration.
  • Experience with two or more full lifecycle SAP RAR implementations
  • Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes, revenue recognition, and integration points with SAP FI/CO, and SD.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS 15, ASC 606, and IFRS 16 standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and coordinate across business and technical teams.
  • Prior experience in the medical devices industry, with a strong grasp of accounting principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create business/functional documents and deliver executive-level presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
