Description

We are looking for a skilled PC Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Iowa City, Iowa. This role involves providing technical support to both local and remote users, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems and applications. Responsibilities:
Offer technical assistance for Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software used within the organization.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for both networked and local devices.
Configure and install Windows OS, printers, and business-related applications.
Troubleshoot and manage Windows 7 systems within an Active Directory framework.
Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and effective problem resolution.
Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and solutions.
Collaborate with team members to address system-related challenges and implement improvements.
Ensure timely responses to user inquiries and support requests.
Test and verify system functionality after repairs and installations.
Assist in identifying opportunities for process optimization within IT operations.

Requirements

Familiarity with installing and configuring Windows operating systems and printers.
Strong knowledge of Windows 7 administration and troubleshooting in an Active Directory environment.
Proficiency in resolving issues within Microsoft Office applications.
Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and software problems.
Excellent customer service abilities, including clear and effective communication.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Meticulous approach to documenting technical issues and solutions.
No prior experience is required, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
