Role : Access Transport Technician
Location : Norfolk, VA
Duration : Fulltime Hire
Job Description :
HS diploma, GED or relevant work experience
2 or more year of experience preferred in related field (e.g. technical support, installation and maintenance)
2 or more years of experience working with IP, Ethernet, SONET, DWDM, DOCSIS, Video and telephone technologies
Requires working knowledge and experience with Granite and Mint
2 or more years of experience specifically in provisioning and troubleshooting layer II and III networks for commercial customers
Demonstrated knowledge of performance testing and test equipment
Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with team throughout the organization
Valid local State Driver s License and driving record that meets standards
Preferred
AS/AA or Technical Certification in related discipline strongly desired (e.g., Technical Operations)
Cisco certification- CCNA, CCNP
