Job Details

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant experience in leadership and strategic roles including Cybersecurity Governance, risk management and strategy.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, strategy, technologies, and methodologies across the cyber lifecycle.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and strategic planning skills to drive cybersecurity initiatives and deliver results.
  • Client Management: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to interact with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex cybersecurity issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in managing large-scale cybersecurity projects, including scope, budget, and timeline management.

Compliance/Framework Experience in one or more of the following:
  • NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-30, ISO 27001/2, HIPAA, GDPR, FFIEC, CIS, COBIT, HITRUST, CSA CCM, AICPA SOC 2, Third Party Risk Management, IT Risk Management, NIST AI RMF

Industry Experience - significant experience in one or more of the following industries:
  • Financial Services, Health & Life Sciences, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Retain, Public Sector, Mergers & Acquisitions

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $160,000 to $175,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.

Position Overview:

As a Principal, you will specialize in cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance management, and strategy. The candidate will lead and oversee complex cybersecurity projects for clients across various industries. You will conduct and/or support assessments (e.g., risk, maturity, etc.), and regulatory compliance reviews, providing strategic guidance and solutions to mitigate cybersecurity risks effectively.

Leveraging your expertise, you will develop and implement security frameworks, policies, and procedures tailored to meet regulatory requirements, industry leading practices, and client requirements. Additionally, you will mentor junior consultants, collaborate closely with senior management and stakeholders, and serve as a trusted advisor in enhancing clients' overall cybersecurity posture and resilience.

The Security Solutions Principal will lead and execute work within consulting engagements for clients across various industries. You will assess security and compliance risks, develop strategies, and implement solutions to safeguard client policies and environments. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to provide strategic guidance. Work is accomplished with limited direction, allowing you to determine and develop approaches to challenging client solutions.

Additionally, the GRS Principal is expected to significantly contribute to practice development in areas such as service offerings, solutions, go to market plans, thought leadership, pipeline management, sales and delivery quality. The position includes travel up to 50% as needed.

Essential Functions:
  • Work as part of a core team serving WWT's customers, including Consulting Services, Enterprise Architects, Managing Directors and Account Managers. They are responsible for Project Ownership and End Products, and contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance to ensure positive impact and sustainable results.
  • Lead, manage and develop delivery teams.
  • Own the problem statement for the customers as leader of day-to-day services delivery.
  • Own the documentation and organization responsibilities around complex projects, delivering strong analytical, quantitative and conceptual thinking skills and effective interpersonal and communication skills to ensure successful client projects & team performance.
  • Serve as the "face" of the WWT Solutions practice to both the internal WWT office and external customers.
  • Work with the WWT account teams to educate them and help drive business development and sales.
  • Forge a niche and demonstrate thought leadership to develop a market position and build WWT's offerings.
  • Actively pursue business opportunities at large, complex customers; work with clients and internal WWT Teams to develop and negotiate statements of work, including project scope, deliverables, timelines and costs.
  • Understand customer needs and make recommendations at the BU/Division Head levels.
  • Understand the breadth of what we sell so that we are bringing the best of WWT to the customer through introducing and selling cross-business services that help expand WWT's footprint.
  • Manage and develop junior team members.
  • Lead marketing efforts in the region to new/existing customers, including writing white papers, attending and presenting at conferences.
  • Develop strong relationships with WWT's core technology partners.
  • Achieve revenue and profit growth for the practice.
