Akkodis is seeking a QA Automation for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL/Dallas, TX, Richardson, TX/Scottsdale, AZ. The ideal candidate willplan and execute robust QA strategies, including test design and automation scripting, while driving continuous improvement through QA metrics and RCA.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $56.00 per hour

QA Automation job responsibilities include:
- Lead QA automation efforts using Playwright and maintain robust BDD Selenium frameworks with TestNG, Maven, and GitHub.
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, including automation scripting, regression testing, and defect tracking.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for defects and drive continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes.
- Track and report QA metrics to ensure quality standards and support Agile development practices.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and cross-functional teams to align on priorities and deliverables.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration to streamline testing and deployment workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in QA automation and test strategy implementation.
- Strong expertise in Playwright for test automation and proficiency in BDD Selenium frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, QA metrics, and defect management processes.
