SAP Finance Consultant OK to Pay Process (Accounts Payable Focus)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Consultant with specialized expertise in the "OK to Pay" process within Accounts Payable (AP). This role requires strong knowledge of invoice verification, payment processing, invoice blocking/release mechanisms, and related integration with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with procurement, finance, and technical teams to optimize and ensure compliance in AP workflows within ECC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and support the Accounts Payable (AP) module, focusing on the OK to Pay process.
• Lead end-to-end invoice lifecycle management: from invoice receipt, verification, and blocking to payment execution.
• Implement and monitor 3-way matching logic (PO, GR, Invoice) and invoice block resolution using MRBR or workflows.
• Support automatic payment runs using F110 or Fiori app equivalents.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize AP workflows, approval hierarchies, and compliance checks.
• Analyse root causes for payment delays and implement process improvements to enhance invoice throughput and reduce exceptions.
• Create functional specifications for enhancements, reports, or integrations (e.g., with VIM, Ariba, or third-party OCR tools).
• Provide user training, create documentation, and support UAT for finance/AP teams.
