Position Senior SAP SD Consultant - 10+ Years Experience

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP SD Consultant with deep expertise in the Sales and Distribution module. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring, implementing, and supporting complex SAP SD solutions, and should be able to lead end-to-end project lifecycles, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead SAP SD implementations, rollouts, and support engagements.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions.
  • Configure core SAP SD components: order-to-cash, pricing, billing, credit management, shipping, returns, rebates, and intercompany processes.
  • Design and implement custom enhancements, interfaces, and reports (in collaboration with ABAP developers).
  • Work closely with integration points: MM (Materials Management), FI/CO (Finance), and WM (Warehouse Management).
  • Handle complex pricing procedures and tax configurations.
  • Support end users and provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting.
  • Create documentation: functional specs, user manuals, training guides, test scripts.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 10+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience, including at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
  • Expertise in:
    • Sales order processing
    • Pricing (condition technique)
    • Delivery and shipping
    • Billing and invoicing
    • Credit and risk management
    • Outputs and forms (SmartForms/Adobe Forms)
  • Strong integration experience with FI, MM, and LE modules.
  • Proficiency in handling IDOCs, BAPIs, and interfaces related to SD.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA SD is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of ATP (Available-to-Promise), consignment processes, and third-party sales.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools like JIRA is a plus.

Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • SAP SD Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Exposure to global rollouts and localization requirements (GST, VAT, etc.) is a plus.
