Service Desk Analyst

Join a fast-paced, 24/7 technical support team providing real-time assistance to internal users across a diverse operational environment. This role focuses heavily on network-related troubleshooting, particularly in retail settings, and requires strong communication skills to support non-technical users.

Shift Details

  • Second or Third Shift.

Role Overview

  • Provide first-line support for remote users across core business systems
  • Handle inbound calls and troubleshoot technical issues, primarily related to retail hardware and network connectivity
  • Support includes point-of-sale systems, receipt printers, credit card readers, and other retail technologies
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical users using clear, simple language
  • Document issues and resolutions in a ticketing system
  • Collaborate with team members to escalate and resolve complex issues
  • Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge base

Required Experience

  • 3+ years in technical support or customer service roles
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems and business applications
  • Familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments
  • Ability to manage high call volumes
  • Fast typing and general computer proficiency

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting retail environments or customer-facing technologies
  • Exposure to network operations or infrastructure support
  • Understanding of point-of-sale systems and peripheral devices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on ticket resolution

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
