During your internship, you will gain valuable insight into:
- Naval Architecture -- Understanding hull design, stability, hydrostatics, and the fundamentals of ship performance.
- Electrical Systems -- Exposure to shipboard power distribution, control systems, automation, and integration of complex electrical equipment.
- Mechanical Systems -- Involvement with propulsion, HVAC, piping, and auxiliary machinery essential to vessel operation.
- Structural Systems -- Learning about ship construction methods, structural analysis, materials, and fabrication techniques.
In addition, you will:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support both new construction and repair projects.
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and problem-solving activities.
- Gain first-hand knowledge of shipyard operations, including production processes, safety standards, and quality control practices.
- Develop professional skills such as technical communication, project coordination, and teamwork in a fast-paced industrial environment.

- Advanced coursework in the fields of Construction Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Structural Engineering
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, modeling and drafting software
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to interact at all levels within the organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
