Requirement:

Job Title: Sr. TPM - SET Lead (Interiors)

(Senior Technical Project Manager - Systems Engineering Team Lead (Interiors) - Automotive domain)
Location: Newark, CA
Contract: 14+ months, extendable
Start Date: October 27, 2025
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple interior engineering projects to ensure timely delivery.

  • Develop and maintain detailed Gantt charts; track progress and milestones.

  • Use Jira and Confluence for task communication and documentation.

  • Oversee design release and engineering change requests via ECR system.

  • Collaborate with PMO, design, supply-chain, testing, and safety teams.

  • Support validation programs and occasional manufacturing plant visits in Arizona.

  • Provide technical guidance on automotive interior trim systems and manufacturing processes.

  • Analyze part cost breakdowns and coordinate with suppliers for target setting.

  • Report progress and updates to management and executive staff.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive domain with interiors trim systems knowledge.

  • Proficiency with CAD programs and Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field required; PMP/CAPM certification preferred.

  • Strong communication, strategic planning, and leadership skills.

The national base pay range below is a good-faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client's assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $90 - $97 per hour on W2.
