Job Description:
  • The Test Automation Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, leading a testing team, and ensuring the effective use of automation tools to optimize testing efficiency and quality.
  • This role requires strong technical expertise in Selenium, Java, EMB, and Cypress, along with leadership skills to manage testing processes and continuous improvements.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures for testing tools and test automation projects.
  • Lead and manage the testing team to execute test cases, report defects, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Utilize testing tools and test automation frameworks such as EMB, Selenium, and Java to automate test cases and enhance test efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and priorities.
  • Analyze test results, track defects, and provide recommendations for improving testing processes.
  • Stay updated on emerging testing tools, technologies, and automation trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Cypress for web applications.
  • Create and execute automated tests for functional, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies, identify automation opportunities, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Debug test failures, perform root cause analysis, and work with developers to resolve identified issues.
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of test automation processes and frameworks.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Proficiency in testing tools and test automation using EMB, Selenium, and Java.
  • Strong experience in developing and executing test scripts using Selenium and Java.
  • Hands-on experience with EMB (Electronic Measurement Bulletin) for testing purposes.
  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining automated test scripts using Cypress.
  • Ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Should Have:
  • Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in test automation and Cypress.
  • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional environments.
  • Knowledge of regression, functional, and end-to-end testing approaches.
