Job Details

Business Analyst - Oaks, PA
Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote)
Duration: 8+ months
Required: Good SQL query and API knowledge

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Participate in daily scrum stand-ups, backlog grooming and refinement sessions, sprint planning meetings, and sprint reviews/retrospectives

  • Support product owners in maintaining the product backlog and scheduling the next release

  • Understand requirements and write user stories and use cases

  • Interact with Dev team, QA team, Data Analysts, and Data Architects

  • Participate in requirement and design review meetings to assess potential impact of changes

  • Attend project meetings, requirements reviews, and walkthroughs as needed

  • Support UAT and help resolve production incidents

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the financial services domain

  • At least 3 years of experience working in an Agile environment; proficient in writing user stories

  • Bachelor s Degree

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile projects in fast-paced weekly/bi-weekly iterations

  • Proficiency in gathering requirements, creating use cases, use case diagrams, and workflow diagrams

  • Experience with JIRA

  • Strong skills in SQL, T-SQL, data mapping, Python

  • Experience with APIs and system integrations

  • Experience supporting UAT, creating user manuals, and conducting user training

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, testing lifecycle, and business process management

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills

  • Strong research and documentation abilities

  • Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented

  • Critical thinker with experience working closely with development teams

  • Agile certification (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus
