Job Details

Role: Senior IT Security Analyst
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection) to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Investigate security alerts and provide timely incident response and remediation.
  • Assist in vulnerability assessments and coordinate patching efforts.
  • Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for improving security posture.
  • Analyze logs, network traffic, and other data sources to identify malicious activity.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Document security incidents, risk assessments, and response procedures.
  • Assist in conducting security awareness training for staff.
  • Participate in audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in information security or related IT roles.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm).
  • Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Experience with threat analysis and incident response.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS Controls).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
