We are looking for a talented Industrial Automation Technician to join our team and help drive the reliability and performance of our automated systems. This role blends technical service, equipment maintenance, and analytical troubleshooting to ensure our automation operations run at peak efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robotic devices and computer-controlled systems used in industrial and commercial environments.
- Respond quickly to equipment issues, performing diagnostics and escalating to management or engineering when needed.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and scheduled checks in alignment with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) guidelines.
- Read and interpret technical documentation—including schematics and diagrams—to diagnose automation control system issues.
- Install, configure, and commission new robotic and production equipment, as well as complete hardware upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on automation programming tasks and software adjustments.
- Document maintenance activities, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support process adjustments led by engineering.
- Partner with production, quality, and leadership teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Support machine setups, fixture configurations, and operational adjustments for production staff.
- Follow all EHS and safety guidelines, while promoting a safe working environment.
- Apply advanced technical expertise to solve challenging hardware and system problems.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience with industrial automation systems.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting background in fast-paced industrial settings.
- Ability to balance repair, maintenance, and analysis tasks with attention to detail and urgency.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
