About this Position:
Job Title: Project Manager
Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle of software development projects initiated by the client, ensuring alignment with assessment, accessibility, and instructional goals.

Develop and oversee project schedules, resource plans, and deliverables across multiple interrelated systems (e.g., test engines, web-based delivery, AI modules).

Coordinate effectively with client's internal technology, content, and assessment teams, as well as external vendors or developers, to meet project milestones.

Track project progress and provide updates to stakeholders on status, risks, and deliverables.

Identify and mitigate project risks, including scheduling delays, compliance issues, and integration barriers.

Ensure timely, transparent communication across all involved parties, including during critical deadlines (e.g., mid-June testing operations).

Oversee planning and readiness for operational testing windows, including coordination for testing session closure and secure data delivery.
Qualifications:

PMP or Scrum certification preferred.

7 10 years of experience managing software development projects, preferably in an educational, public sector, or research environment.

Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including technology developers, instructional designers, and compliance specialists.

Prior experience in higher education or government project environments is a plus.

Familiarity with platforms or systems involving accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), FERPA compliance, or K 12 assessment tools is desirable but not required.
