About this Position:

Job Title: Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of software development projects initiated by the client, ensuring alignment with assessment, accessibility, and instructional goals.

  • Develop and oversee project schedules, resource plans, and deliverables across multiple interrelated systems (e.g., test engines, web-based delivery, AI modules).

  • Coordinate effectively with client's internal technology, content, and assessment teams, as well as external vendors or developers, to meet project milestones.

  • Track project progress and provide updates to stakeholders on status, risks, and deliverables.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, including scheduling delays, compliance issues, and integration barriers.

  • Ensure timely, transparent communication across all involved parties, including during critical deadlines (e.g., mid-June testing operations).

  • Oversee planning and readiness for operational testing windows, including coordination for testing session closure and secure data delivery.

Qualifications:

  • PMP or Scrum certification preferred.

  • 7 10 years of experience managing software development projects, preferably in an educational, public sector, or research environment.

  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including technology developers, instructional designers, and compliance specialists.

  • Prior experience in higher education or government project environments is a plus.

  • Familiarity with platforms or systems involving accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), FERPA compliance, or K 12 assessment tools is desirable but not required.
