Job Description
How does it feel to work on a team driven to make a big impact? Empowering. Our Combat Mission Systems business in Anniston, AL is currently hiring for an Electrical Floor Support Engineer to provide technical support to manufacturing and related functions.

Additional Responsibility Includes:
  • Researches, develops, and improves electrical manufacturing processes, methods, and systems for products, facilities, fixtures, tooling, equipment, and/or materials.
  • Develops and tests work methods and procedures, ensuring performance and quality of materials, products, and machines meet specifications and standards.
  • Ensures technical outcomes are consistent with established engineering principles and practices and that customer and company technical, system, performance, and quality requirements are met.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 2 years relevant experience; or a M.S. degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • Working knowledge of electrical engineering tools is highly desired
  • Regularly required to sit; frequently required to move about, and reach with hands and arms; may occasionally be required to balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a relevant technical field of specialization.
  • Familiarity with current computer applications and technologies in applicable engineering disciplines.
  • Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with customers to solve moderately complex technical problems.
  • Familiarity with relevant military and commercial design standards.
  • Experience working with electrical/electronic systems of military ground vehicles
  • Working knowledge of military electrical connector and electrical cabling specifications
  • SAEJ1939 CANBus, 10/100 and Gigabit Ethernet Protocols
  • Integration of military communication/antenna systems including BFT, SINCGARS, DAGR, CREW2

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $50580 - $85950

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
