Analytics Consultant

We are looking for an Analytics Consultant to join a Fortune 500 Healthcare organization in the loop on a hybrid basis. This role involves constructing forecasts, recommendations, and plans using business data, leading cross-functional teams, and providing consultation to address business issues. It also entails creating report specifications, producing datasets and reports, and analyzing complex business problems using internal and external data sources to provide insights and identify trends and patterns.

The role involves performing research and analyzing claims and health data, including medical algorithms, to inform decisions regarding healthcare expenditures, outcomes, and cost containment strategies.

Unfortunately this role cannot provide visa sponsorship now or in the future or be considered for 1099 work. Required Skills & Experience

• Requires a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics, including 1 year in healthcare data analysis, or 9 years of relevant experience.
• Utilize SQL, Tableau, Python, Alteryx and R to extract, manipulate, analyze, and visualize healthcare data effectively.
• Demands specialized expertise and the ability to interpret internal or external business issues, recommending best practices.
• Encourages initiative in solving complex problems, employing an "outside-in" perspective for innovative solutions.
• Works independently, with guidance in the most complex situations, and may lead functional teams or projects.
• Demonstrates a depth and/or breadth of expertise, taking responsibility for interpreting and solving intricate problems in the field.
