UKG Applications Manager (direct hire, full time - no C2C / 1099 contract options)

Location: Oceanfront, NJ - hybrid (~25% with flexibility)

Duration: Permanent

Summary

Our healthcare client is looking for a UKG Applications Manager who is a subject matter expert in UKG Pro WFM. The client is moving from ADP eTime to UKG.

Job Overview

The UKG Applications Manager manages the team responsible for UKG Time and Attendance, Advanced Scheduler, Absence Management and other dependent applications. They are required to provide integration support for HCM and/or other enterprise applications that integrate with UKG T&A products. Where necessary, the Manager provides functional production support to affiliates sites, assists in the implementations of new affiliates, and assists with upgrades of new releases and other system technical functions.

The right candidate will have participated in an implementation or migration project involving UKG Pro WFM. They will have solid hands-on configuration experience, healthcare industry experience, and experience directly managing teams of functional and technical consultants.

Essential Functions:
  • Understand the functional capabilities of the applications and supporting infrastructure.
  • Work with business owners to understand business priorities and support the configuration of software to enable supporting processes.
  • Work with Payroll Managers to enable key processes leveraging standard application capabilities and configuration.
  • Develop and communicate a technical vision to address short-term and long-term solutions.
  • Follows IT/departmental standards, procedures, and project documentation requirements
  • Manage projects related to the UKG Pro WFM and other products
  • Provides strategic and operational expertise to business owners and stakeholders to ensure seamless and accurate payroll management.
  • Monitors the application of time attendance policies, procedures, and programs to ensure alignment with the companys overall strategic objectives and vision.
  • Monitor the application and document and analyze problems.


Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience managing functional and/or technical resources supporting UKG Time and Attendance, Advanced Scheduler applications.
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in a complex Healthcare or similar industry with Unions and multiple payroll companies setting.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of UKG Time and Attendance, Data Hub, Advanced Scheduler, Absence Management, Analytics modules.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in Time and Attendance, Advanced Scheduler products.
  • Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in UKG Pro WFM product.
  • Experience in Pay policy standardization is preferred.
  • Must be able to function in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities on an ongoing basis while maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements to meet business objectives.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Finance or relevant degree or equivalent experience.
